Inspiration can come from anywhere. Often my family laughs at me when I notice an interesting texture on a wall or the unique color of a building. I seem to see things in a slightly different way then they do. Whereas they see a pleasant interior space, I see how the light plays on the walls and the contrasting colors of the hardwood and the cabinets. This is a talent that I inherited from my mother. She has always had the incredible ability to transform a room into a work of art.
I took my creative talent in a different direction. I have always been enamored with contemporary art, juxtaposition of colors, combining of textures and a good creative project. I love designing the perfect logo for a new company that reflects their purpose, personality and ultimately what will become their personal brand. Even more satisfying is applying their new look to all aspects of their business from letterhead to website to signage to printed marketing materials. A complete package. A solid base that can be built on, strengthened and expanded. So satisfying … not only for me, but for them. There is nothing more credible than a well branded company.
