Color can have a profound effect on your life and your business. Color evokes different emotions and feelings. When designing a logo and color palate for your business you must identify the color that works the best for your product and how you want people to perceive you.
For instance, Red is associated with aggression and energy at the same time as being provocative and attention grabbing. It might work for a restaurant, vehicle or snowboard, but not for baby products or medical devices. Blue is trustworthy, dependable, secure and responsible and, for obvious reasons, is used frequently for corporate ID.
Pantone has identified Emerald as the 2013 color of the year. This deep green color speaks of affluence, health, prestige and serenity. I am sure that we will see it played out in a variety of ways in home décor, fashion and, of course, business where it has been at home for some time now.
